I found this adorable craft on Pinterest and decided to give it a try today. It was really easy to set up and the kids absolutely loved it!
Items needed:
- Tan, green, black, yellow, and white construction paper
- Shaving cream
- Elmer’s Glue
- Orange food coloring
- Paintbrushes
After creating the leprechaun face and hat, I mixed up some orange puffy paint for the kids to paint on his hair and beard. All you need to do is mix the amount of shaving cream you would like for the amount of kids you have then add equal amounts of Elmer’s glue. Use the food coloring to get your desired color.

They really loved being able to play in the puffy paint and create something on their very own leprechaun. I would say that this craft was a definite success!
Here is our finished product! Isn’t that just the cutest leprechaun?? Full face of beard and all! 😂

I would love to see your projects for St. Patrick’s Day! Be sure to comment below and share some of your little puffy paint leprechauns too!
